Since 2005, Ashburn Robotics teams have been competing in FIRST robotics events. While challenges change and teams move on, we wanted to recognize all the teams who have been part of Ashburn Robotics through the years. While not every team will have their own page, all teams will be recognized here.

2005 |FLL Team #4459 RCXtreme was the first team formed by Coach Mark, the founder of Ashburn Robotics. Consisting of just three girls, the team won 1st Place Robot Design & 1st Place Table Score at the VA State Tournament adn 2nd Place Overall Champion and 2nd Place Table Score at their regional qualifier event.

An FLL team from 2006-2011, NXTreme had a number of accomplishments.

2007 | FLL Team #2653 Consisting of 9 team members, they won 1st Place Champions Award at the VA/DC state tournament and 1st Place Champions Award as well as 1st Place Robot Performance Award at their regional qualifier event.

2008 | FLL Team #3837 Consisting of 10 team members, they won 1st Place Robot Performance award at the VA/DC state tournament and 1st Place Champions Award as well as 1st Place Robot Performance Award at their regional qualifier event

2009 | FLL Team #3975 Consisting of 10 members, they won 2nd Place Champions Award at the VA/DC state tournament and 1st Place Champions Award as well as 1st Place Robot Performance Award.

20010 | FLL Team #3691 Consisting of 9 team members, they won 1st Place Mechanical Design at the World Festival, 1st Place Champions Award as well as 1st Place Robot Performance Award at the VA/DC state tournament and 1st Place Robot Design Award as well as 1st Place Robot Performance Award at their regional qualifier event.

2011 | FLL Team #3169 Consisting of 10 team members they won 1st Place Programming Award and 3rd Place Robot Performance Award at the VA/DC state tournament and 1st Place Champions Award at their regional qualifier event

2012 | FLL Team #75 Consisting of 10 team members, they won 1st Place Research Award at the VA/DC state tournament and 1st Place Champions Award as well as 1st Place Robot Performance Award at their regional qualifier event.

2013 | FLL Team #20 Consisting of 9 team members, they won 2nd Place Presentation Award at the North American Open, 2nd Place Champions Award at the VA/DC state tournament and 1st Place Champions Award as well as 1st Place Robot Performance Award at their regional qualifier event.

2014 | FLL Team #168Consisting of 9 team members, they won 1st Place Inspiration Award at the World Festival, 1st Place Champions Award at the VA/DC state tournament and 1st Place Champions Award as well as 1st Place Robot Performance Award at their regional qualifier event.
