Geared UP!

After What’s NXT disolved, the remaining members of the team formed Geared UP! While only together for three years, they competed internationally on two occasions. Geared UP! also developed Craft-A-Bot, their low cost robotics system, as part of an FLL research project. To see what the team is doing now, as FTC team 8297, check them out here.

This year’s challenge, Senior Solutions, focused on improving the quality of life for seniors by helping them continue to be independent, engaged and connected in their communities.

This year’s challenge, Nature’s Fury, explored the awe-inspiring stroms, quakes, waves and more that we call natural disasters. Teams will disocver what can be done when intense natural events meet the places people live, work and play.

This year’s challenge, FLL World Class, focused onredesigning how we gather knowldege and skills in the 21st century. Teams worked on figuring out new ways that kids wanted and needed to learn.
